Hallo Oompie - behoort nie probleem te wees nie, sal co-driver soek...
George, gee so bietjie meer inligting as die tyd nader kom asseblief. Ons sal graag wil gaan kyk.
Hallo Paulo - ek plak die info sommer hier onder:
The McCarthy 4×4 Club herewith invites all 4X4 clubs to partake in this years “AAWDC Inter Club Family
Day”.
The event will be held at the Rhino Park terrain, home of the McCarthy 4×4 club, ensuring a great
weekend event. Only 13 Teams of 10 vehicles each will be allowed to take part, so be sure to enter as
soon as possible, as entries work on a first come first serve basis.
A large camping area has been made available around the club premises. The terrain will be able to
accommodate approximately 30 camp sites. The camping terrain will be available from 17August at
12h00. A flat rate fee will be levied per campsite, making it a very affordable weekend away for the event.
Safety will yet again be of utmost importance, where all vehicles will undergo scrutineering. No vehicle will
be allowed to participate if it fails scrutineering. Vehicle scrutineering will be conducted from Friday 17
August, 14h00 to avoid a rush on Saturday morning. All vehicles must be scrutineered before the start of
the event.
The McCarthy 4×4 Club has decided to support the “Stop Rhino Poaching Conservation” project, and
continue with the good work that was done by the Land Cruiser Club of South Africa in 2011. The
conservation effort and all proceeds, (excluding the entry fee) will be donated to the “Stop Rhino
Poaching” organization. More details will be posted on the AAWDC Inter club Family Day web pages in
the next few weeks.
It is hoped that this year will see a number of new clubs entering the event with many clubs already
showing interest in competing for the 1st place.
More information regarding this event , times, entry forms and costs will be made available on the AAWDC
Inter club Family Day web pages, and will also be accessible via the McCarthy 4×4 Club web site,
www.mccarthy4x4.co.za.
